UOB Signs AWS Agreement for Sovereign Cloud Environment in Singapore
Singaporean bank UOB has signed an agreement with AWS for a dedicated cloud environment in Singapore to meet data sovereignty, security and regulatory requirements across Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam. The proposed hybrid model would keep systems and customer data in an isolated cloud environment, while providing access to AWS capabilities for AI and customer data analytics.
