Red Box Recorders, leader in compliance recording technology, this week launched its innovative Transcription service, built on an open extensible API platform, enabling customers to extend their analysis of spoken voice with accurate and timely transcriptions. These can be used to enhance audio capture and retrieval; meeting compliance needs and strengthening training across contact centres and trading floors.

The use of deep and recurrent neural network algorithms through a partnership with transcription technology pioneer, Speechmatics, means Red Box Recorders has pushed the boundaries of what was previously possible in speech recognition quality, constantly learning and improving. The new facility boasts unprecedented accuracy across all 28 languages supported which include English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Japanese and Russian, with further being added over the coming months.

Transcribed audio, including metadata, can be uploaded into a data warehouse or analytics engine to provide additional value such as surveillance, audit or quality analysis. The service’s competitive pricing makes it accessible to businesses of any size, opening up the technology to the many organisations that can benefit from this valuable data.

KEY FEATURES

  • Fast and accurate text representation of audio conversations
  • Support of 50+ voice platforms: PBX/UC/Contact Centre/Turrets/Mobile/Radio, including Audio from Cisco/Microsoft Video (new and Legacy technologies)

Pete Ellis, CRO, Red Box Recorders said:

“Our new transcription facility is a tightly integrated component of the core recording engine, which enables us to accurately produce search-optimised text output of audio captured from anywhere. This adds even further value to the conversations captured, whether for compliance, investigations or operational improvements.”

For more than 28 years Red Box Recorders’ innovative voice recording technologies have helped organisations across finance, contact centre, government and public safety sectors to record, search and replay telephone calls and other conversations for fact verification, investigation of business activities and quality monitoring.
