IT and communications provider Daisy Group has launched an innovative new solution capable of transforming the way businesses manage the upcoming GDPR.
‘GDPR Check & Protect’ is software developed in-house by Daisy’s award-winning ‘Wisdom’ division.
It provides businesses with a secure data storage solution, whilst simultaneously performing document lifecycle management compliant with the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) coming into effect on 25th May 2018.
Comprising four elements:
- Check
- Import
- Transform
- Manage
...Wisdom GDPR Check & Protect searches, analyses and reports on all data that is stored on servers, network drives, shared drives and desktops.
Selected data can then be imported into the system where the files can be identified, classified, de-duplicated and have necessary GDPR-relevant retention policies applied.
