Enghouse Systems Acquires Competella

Enghouse Systems has acquired Competella, a Microsoft Teams solutions vendor, for an undisclosed amount.

Based in Stockholm, Sweden, Competella offers a communication suite for Microsoft Teams that helps organisations move from telephony legacy systems to the Teams phone solution.

The suite includes various Microsoft Teams native contact centre solutions, along with an IVR and Office User add-ons.

Further, the suite enables contact center agents to use an array of tools, such as directory search, calendar, email and IM, along with fully integrated queuing.

Competella’s network of cloud partners and resellers includes brands like T-Mobile, Orange, and Long View.

The company primarily serves customers in Scandinavian and Switzerland markets.

Steve Sadler, Chairman & CEO of Enghouse, said: "Competella offers an easy to deploy cloud-based contact center solution that works effectively in the Microsoft Teams.

"Competella is a great fit for us as we have both operated in Sweden for a long time. We are very pleased to welcome Competella's customers, employees and partners to Enghouse."

Enghouse Systems provides various enterprise software solutions, including contact centers, video communications, telecommunications, and more.

Part of Enghouse Systems’ management group is Enghouse Interactive, a contact centre software and services specialist, which recently launched a new CCaaS offering for small to medium businesses.
